# Performing a backtest

1. Open the monitored address you wish to backtest.
2. Switch to the "Backtest" tab and click "Start New Backtest".
3. Select a time period (maximum of 24 hours).
4. Click "Start Backtesting."
5. Backtesting will start in the background, and a message will appear at the top of the page to indicate this.
6. All findings generated during backtesting will appear in the Findings table.
7. You will receive an email once backtesting is complete.
